Fair Housing

The short answer

Gold Peach Realty, the publisher of Buckhead Atlanta Homes, supports the Fair Housing Act and equal housing opportunity. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status or national origin, and our area guides describe places, roads, rules, buildings and transit, never the people who live there. We do not steer buyers toward or away from any area.

The federal Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination in housing because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status or national origin. Our area guides describe geography, housing types, roads, transit, parks and the rules that apply, so you can decide for yourself where fits.

We do not steer. The area finder asks about housing type, walking, parks, MARTA and drive times; it never asks about, or sorts by, who lives in an area. We do not describe any part of Buckhead as safe or unsafe, and we do not answer questions about who lives in a neighborhood: those questions point to public sources, not to us. Age-restricted (55 and over) communities are a lawful exemption under the Act, and we describe them only by their own published rules.

If you believe you have experienced housing discrimination, you can contact the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development at hud.gov.

Rules, rates and maps change. Every rule on this page links to the office that sets it; confirm with that office before you rely on it.

Ready to tour a home?

Talk to an agent before you write the offer.

Gold Peach Realty is the brokerage behind this guide. An agent can pull the Fulton County parcel record to confirm the home is in the City of Atlanta, request a condo association’s documents and budget, check the building on HUD’s FHA list and walk you through tree-permit questions before your due-diligence period runs out.
